Bella on Houston is a fine-casual restaurant that is locally-owned and independently operated featuring Modern European cuisine. We are your downtown neighborhood restaurant, located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, Texas on historic Houston Street, 4-doors down from the Majestic Theater, 2-blocks off the San Antonio River Walk, and within walking distance from the Convention Center and all the major San Antonio downtown hotels.

Bella features Chef William (Billy) Kittleman’s outstanding, fresh, and creative menu specialties including the Eggplant Josephine, Seasonal Salads, Mussels, Seafood Paella, Pasta Bella, Texas Red Fish, Grilled Steaks and Lamb Chops, White Chocolate Bread Pudding, Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Pistachio Cake. We also offer a nice selection of Gluten-Free and Vegetarian alternatives.

Our friendly and professional service staff is committed to making all our guests welcomed and appreciated with our “we are glad you're here!" focus and attention. The Bella on Houston dining room and bar features a contemporary European design with an old-world feel, candle-lit tables, a casual and comfortable atmosphere, and an intimate and cozy vibe.

Join us for daily happy hour featured from 3-6pm daily, Lunch on Fridays 11:30am-2pm, and Dinner Monday-Saturday 5-10pm.
